The weather is pretty cold, the feeling of unfamiliarity just comes to me when I land in the country. However, the moment I lay down on the bed of the hotel is pretty good.
For only two weeks, I started to get familiar with the situation. I started to get to know some people from other countries such as Turkey and France. The counselors and teachers there are also very nice
We have a lot of activities for a day, we only have the class in the morning. Additionally, there is not even a piece of homework.
I wake up at 7:10 and get ready for breakfast at 7:40. After having class until 12:00 and having lunch, we will start to do activities like chess or horse riding. At 6:00, we will have dinner and do some social events such as a party. And of course, we go to bed at 10:00.
We barely need money for daily life, only if you want to buy a snack at the cafe. Most of the money we will spend on shopping at the weekend. The afternoon activities will be decided by us on the night of the previous day and I usually go with stuff like sports.
I will recommend this course to other students mainly because this is a good way to practice your social skills to communicate with others while studying some language.
We have discussed stuff like should gossiping about bad things be banned and that is very interesting. We usually express our ideas freely by raising our hands, which is no big difference with Taiwan’s education.
Yes, we do have weekly reports and it is really fun, especially with the process of discussing ideas with people from different countries. We usually just get along with the person who talks the loudest and actually, it goes really well.
I enjoy my experience with the dorm. it's comfortable and keeps us warm from the weather of England. Surprisingly, we don’t have many rules. However, about the dish, I don’t exactly know how much I pay, but it is not very good.
I did some basketball and horse riding and I really enjoy it when I can get along with people from other countries and let them know about Taiwan. I highly recommend students to study abroad to have the perspective of other countries while promoting their own.
